Program Manager
(Must be a U.S. Citizen)

Def-Logix is hring for a Project Manager that will be responsible for project management in accordance with client requirements and organizational guidelines. Specific duties may include oversight of program level cost, schedule, performance and deliverable services, as well as products. Detects and analytically solves a wide variety of business problems. Provides the strategic planning for successful project completion. Directs, organizes and monitors work activity, creates technical documentation as needed, is the channel of communication between the customer and company, and is responsible for meeting program cost, schedule, and performance objectives. Creates process enhancements in response to program challenges.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years management experience in the IT field, including development work and interactions with customers
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks at any one time while maintaining high quality standards
  • Ability to spot potential risks and troubleshoot solutions that lead to better outcomes
  • Evidence of project management experience within a complex technology environment
  • Excellent organizational skills to juggle competing demands and to ensure development and implementation of proper systems and processes in an agile environment
  • Extensive leadership experience and strong teaming abilities
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering technology bias projects involving teams of predominantly technicians/programmers/engineers

Role:

  • Responsible to Director of Operations
  • Produces Capabilities Requirements Specification (CRS) document in Coordination with project Technical Lead and obtains Director of R&D approval before submitting to
  • customer.
  • Produces project schedule in Coordination with project Technical lead and obtains Director of R&D approval before submitting to customer.
  • Coordinates with project Technical Lead to ensure teams are following the project plan
  • Produces monthly status report in Coordination with project Technical Lead and obtains Director of R&D approval before submitting to customer.
  • Coordinates with project Technical Lead in ensuring all deliverables are identified and submitted according to the project schedule.
  • Produces project plan as required in support of project Technical Lead
  • Assists project Technical Lead with ensuring Taiga accurately reflects the current status of the project
  • Coordinates demos and other meetings with customer and project Team Lead
  • Ensures projects white board accurately reflects the status of deliverables and issues (if any) affecting the progress of the project
  • Ensures all documentation including manuals, test plans, reports, etc. meet contract requirements.
  • Submits PTO requests to Director of Operations for approval
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Director of Operations

Mid/Senior Level C/C++ Developer

Role:
We are looking for motivated, experienced C/C++ developers to help create the next generation of advanced network security applications. This will be mostly Windows code, but if you are an experienced Linux developer, especially with kernel or driver experience, send us your resume, you might be a great fit. Do you feel compelled to automate anything you have to do more than twice? Do you understand concepts like “least privilege” and “separation of duties”? Do you know when it’s right or wrong to build Docker containers instead of virtual machines?

Def-Logix is looking for a full-time security-focused DevOps Engineer with experience in Windows and Linux administration. A qualified candidate will have in-depth scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.) and a passion for automation and testing. At least fundamental understandings of version control (Git, Mercurial, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Travis CI, etc.) are required. Strong software development skills are a huge plus. Clearance is desired but not required for consideration.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop and maintain a DevOps framework to support build server automation and automation of RMF scans (ACAS/NESSUS/HP Fortify) into the software development lifecycle.
Develop customer and team documentation of the DevOps process.
Perform maintenance, upgrades and troubleshooting.
Provide technical support and training to project team and customer
Required Skills:

Expert within Linux (RHEL, Centos, Ubuntu)
Expert with Linux scripting (Bash, Python, Gawk, Perl, Groovy)
Experience with source code repository tools (GIT, SVN).
Experience with Agile development practices
Expert with build automation technologies (Jenkins, Gradle, GIT, SVN, Maven, Ivy)
Experience with automated configuration management tools (Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Chef)
Experience with Artifact binary repository management (Nexus, Maven, Artifactory)

Def-Logix is seeking a full-time Reverse Engineer with experience writing C, C++, and Assembly Language. A qualified candidate will have at least an interim Top Secret Security clearance.

• Isolate, review, analyze, and reverse-engineer programs and applications.
• Work deep within the boot process, kernel, and system internals to devise novel solutions using tools like IDA Pro, debuggers, and in-target probes to research behavior of binaries.
• Analyze software and firmware using reverse engineering techniques to understand security vulnerabilities, working closely with teammates who value innovation and execution.
• Analyze, disassemble, and reverse engineer software binaries; document and transition results in reports, presentations and technical exchanges.
• Design, prototype, document, test and transition code analysis methods and tools appropriate for operational use.

Required Skills: 

Read and write C, C++, and Assembly
• Trace code execution in a debugger (windbg/gdb/IDA Pro)
• Understanding of security protection mechanisms (ASLR, DEP, NX)Desired Skills:
• Detailed understanding of mobile device operating systems.
• Detailed understanding of computer networking (e.g. TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL)
• Proficient in one or more assembly languages (e.g. x86, ARM)
